Do I look like a painter on vacation or what? I borrowed the shoes.
I don't think I could run out of places to paint up here. The light was truly beautiful, and there are so many lakes and trails that I could spend the rest of my painting days hiking and painting without getting bored. This is my assessment after staying up there for only a week.
I must confess that my reputation as the world's worst fisherman was on the line. I couldn't paint him because he was too small to keep.

This is my gift to our friends who invited us up to share their piece of paradise. This is them, walking and talking on one of the many hikes we took through the North Woods. Carole and Peter, thanks for a wonderful time, and look for your package in the mail.

stunning painting peter, you have really captured the moment, lovely!
WoW! This is a stunner! Beautiful!
Nice painting. Sounds like a great trip you guys had up there. I'm thinking those shoes have to go though.
Wow! What can we say? We had an incredible week with wonderful friends. A Yesis original being delivered to our doorstep? Are we dreaming? The gift of your art will be forever treasured just like the gift of your friendship. We look forward to another voyage through life with you both. And by the way, the shoes make the man. You blend.
