Daily Painting in Maine - more boats

I have gotten hooked on boats since moving to Maine.
In the water, out of the water, covered, being repaired, abandoned or brand spankin' new, it doesn't seem to matter as long as it's a boat.

 Waiting for the Season

 Here's a plein air piece I did about a month ago in Rockport, Maine. The boats were facing the water  and seemed to be sniffing for the salt air.  The one on the right is for sale, but since I haven't a clue about sailing I  think I'll pass.

Today, I am off to see  the schooners pass by the Rockland Breakwater Head Lighthouse.  I'll try and take a bunch of photos to post tomorrow.
