Late Night in Santa Fe
Self Portrait day 10
8"x10"
oil on canvas board

This is what travel and staying up late does to me when I have an early morning wake up. This is the mirror from the bed and breakfast I stayed at in Santa Fe last week. The sunny design on the mirror is completely lost on the less than sunny face in the mirror.

This has really been so fun to follow your portraits, Peter. It dawned on me that each day you are actually showing us your personality and not just giving us a portrait. (I'm slow!)This one is a perfect example of that. Love it!

I love this one - it tells a charming 'sleepy-head-morning-after' story!

I have just discovered your blog looking for frames. I love this, and I haven't seen them all yet. I was just in Santa Fe last week for the OPA National Exhibition. I am wondering what B&B you stayed at and if you liked it. Thanks. Debra

Thanks Lilly - I think this is my favorite too. Now that I have my eyes open.

Hey MJ and Ann- I am showing a bit more of myself in this painting. Glad you are both enjoying the view.

Debra - I stayed at the Casa del Toro. It was a great little room and the breakfast was fantastic. All the food was organic and purchased that morning from the local farmer's market. It was easy walking distance to everything. organic
