Daily Painting Practice - Day 9 Maine Seascapes - View from Pigeon Hill progress-

Day 9 - Cheating or Doing the right thing?

Is it really cheating? I mean, do I have to submit  a new painting for Leslie Saeta's 30 day painting challenge? After all, this is what I am painting today. OK, it's not a small daily painting but it is a daily painting.
Work in Progress _ view from Pigeon Hill - Maine
It's a daily painting because I have been working on it daily for days and days and days. I don't want to say that I am nearly finished because this one seems to be taking  forever.

It has been a lot of fun though. I especially like a few of the changes I made in the foreground to add some more interest and the the color is coming together nicely.
OK, I'll say it anyway.... I'm close to finishing it.

I like it and I like that it is large and is of Maine

I've never felt that you needed to post a completed painting every day. Posting a progress photo of a larger work would be in keeping with the spirit of the challenge. The challenge isn't to post a completed painting, it's to paint every day.
