Daily Painting in Maine - Schoodic Evening
A lovely day painting plein air in the late afternoon at my favorite spot in Maine. Schoodic Point in Acadia National Park.
On the west side of the peninsula out of the sun. The afternoon sun casts wonderful shadows.
After finishing up with this one we traveled around to the eastern side.
The tide was coming in and the sun was going down... a perfect combination. The temperature at home was in the upper 80's but here with the breeze off the ocean it was twenty degrees cooler.
